We first worked with Ben while buying our first house in 2014 and were so impressed with his thorough and professional work, that we immediately thought about him when the time came to sell it. As a buyer agent, he actively sought and suggested houses to view to meet our unusual criteria, and once we chose to make an offer, guided us through the process and helped to understand reports, loan arrangements, and so on. As a seller agent, he understood our specific priorities, he and his team did a fantastic job of prepping the house for listing within a month, kept the process organized, created amazing marketing materials, and kept us well-informed and at the same time not too overwhelmed and distracted throughout the process. The house was sold 10 weeks after we made the decision and called Ben to put it on the market.
We moved to Oakland in January of 2020 from Minnesota, planning to live in an apartment for a year, and then find a home in the east bay within 15 minutes of Central Oakland. But to our dismay and disappointment, there was nothing I would remotely consider appropriate for my wife that did not entail a couple of years of headaches and a lot of remodeling. I contacted Ben to help us find something we could live in and live with. He did a great job helping us clarify what we were looking for and got us into this great place in Point Richmond an absolute hidden gem with a great view of San Francisco bay.
